We’re thrilled to unveil the 2026 Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival poster. Designed by Sonny Kay, a longtime friend of the festival and former Executive Director of Hot Springs’ Low Key Arts, this year’s poster is in keeping with our desire to look back over our rich 35-year history, as well as the history of documentary film itself.
From the creative font to its centrifugal dynamism, Sonny’s poster takes inspiration from the classic 1929 documentary MAN WITH A MOVIE CAMERA by Dziga Vertov and to one of the movie’s iconic posters made in the irrepressible Constructivist style. We draw strength from the towering artists of the past as we move boldly into the future.
